As a complete hardware and software reference design you will also learn how AECloud2 helps developers to quickly evaluate cellular connectivity options and build Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) cellular Internet of Things (IoT) applications. STIL10003: This course is designed to teach you how to create a graphical user interface, or GUI using the Synergy Software Package in e2 studio. You will learn how to configure the LCD panel using e2 studio, create a GUI using GUIX™ Studio, generate GUIX™ source code into the Synergy project, and use the Synergy Messaging Framework to pass events between the GUI thread and the hardware. Next, the student will complete a lab to gain a working understanding of GUIX™. This module will take approximately 2hrs to complete including labs.

STBP15000: In this module we will take an in depth look at the Ports on Renesas Synergy™ Microntrollers, including the multiple ways to use them. Then we will look at the wide variety of general purpose timers and what they are each capable of, and then we will finish up by looking at the Asynchronous General Purpose Timer. At the end of this module, you will be capable of choosing a timer that is appropriate for your application and the performance that you can expect from that timer. Also, you will have a working knowledge of the I/O port structure on the Synergy Microcontrollers, the registers involved, and how to use them. This module will take approximately 35 minutes to complete.

STBL10020: In this module you will learn about the Renesas Synergy™ Wi-Fi framework and see how easy it is to achieve wireless TCP/IP network communications in your Synergy program. The Synergy Wi-Fi framework makes it incredibly easy to incorporate Wi-Fi communications into your Synergy program. It allows easy integration with any of the NetX and NetX Duo networking components. Time Investment for this is approximately 35 minutes. A 13 minute presentation followed by a 30 minute hands-on lab.

STBL10006: This module will look at how to use X-Ware components and explore the architecture as well as how they fit into Synergy Software Package (SSP) frameworks. The X-Ware components are an integral part of the SSP. They provide a multitude of functionalities such as File Systems, USB host and device classes, graphical user interface and network connectivity. At the end of this module you will be able to Identify and explain each X-Ware™ component and understand its function. You will understand the source code accessibility for various elements of the SSP. This module will take approximately 15 minutes to complete (not including the hands on lab).
Using IAR™ EW for Renesas Synergy™ Development & Analysis Tools

STIL14001: In this module you will dive deeper into the IDE and look at three powerful and unique features within EW SYN: 1) ThreadX® RTOS awareness is the ability for the debug environment to provide real-time operating system information during debugging. 2) Static Analysis provides a tool that focus on portions of code that just don’t look right. Sure they may compile and even work, at times… A good static analysis tool can save hours, days, even weeks of frustrating debugging time. 3) Runtime Analysis takes static analysis one step further, identifying areas of suspicious code while the program is actually executing. At the end of this module, we encourage you to download the hands-on lab material so you can experience these tools further. This module will take approx 45 minutes to complete, including the hands-on Lab.

STBP04001: In this module you will learn about power profiles available in the Renesas Synergy™ Microcontroller Family. You will also cover basic description of the low power modes and how each one operates; cover the key benefits of each low power mode, as well as the drawbacks for each level. This module will take approximately 24 minutes to complete, not including hands-on lab.
