Introduction to Renesas RX13T for Motor Control
Last Updated
March 30, 2020
XMBP16007: This module provides and introductory overview of the Renesas RX13T microcontroller optimized for controlling single motor solutions. This device is designed for use specifically in applications requiring motor control such as fans, pumps, refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, and compact robots. It can perform simultaneous sampling of three-phase current values and floating-point processing that are required to control motors. A single RX13T chip can perform vector control on brushless DC motors has enhanced functions such as a programmable gain amplifier, DataFlash, and oscillating circuit, it enables loading of external parts. It also supports 32-pin low pin count packages, contributing to Renesas customers who are trying to reduce board space. This session will cover the RX13T position in the RX-T family, target markets and a brief comparison with like devices in the market. This module will take approx. 11 mins to complete.
Introduction to RX23E-A RSSK for Industrial Sensor Applications
Last Updated
March 27, 2020
XMBP16006: This training introduces the Renesas RX23E-A with built-in high-precision analog front end (AFE) and RSSK and other sensors for high-precision system development and evaluation for sensor application equipment that needs increase with the automation of industrial equipment. The RX23E-A achieves the characteristics of the built-in AFE at a level that can replace competitive single AFE ICs, targeting high-end measurement equipment. RMS noise, offset drift, gain drift and other performances have been greatly improved compared to conventional AFEs with built-in microcomputers. At the same time, the built-in RXv2 core supports DSP and FPU to meet both analog and digital needs of sensor application equipment. When using the Renesas Solution Starter Kit (RSSK) of the released RX23E-A, it is possible to easily set up a highly accurate analog evaluation and development environment by making hardware and software into a kit.
Learning time is about 12 minutes.
